Too many thoughts. . .

I was about to title this entry as "Thank God it's Friday", but then I realized that it is only Thursday. How much does that suck? Am I the only one who feels this week completely dragging?

Last night I kept waking up and falling back asleep, which also means that I had a number of dreams. Does anyone else wake up and feel like their dream was really happening? It is the most scariest thing because I had a dream that one of my friends died in a car accident. I actually woke up with tears. I guess that is a good thing about dreams, they aren't real.

Guess what tomorrow is??? December 1st. Which also means that Christmas is only 24 days away. Hopefully by then, (yes Cyndy) snow will be here so it will feel a little more like Christmas. It is already getting so busy with Christmas Parties and get-togethers. I love this time of year.

Yesterday, my friend had received a gift. An answer to prayer. It is so amazing how our God works. I am so encouraged by the power of prayer. God really does provide for us when we really pray and seek out His will for our lives.

So, there it is. A few of my thoughts for the day.

Friends are coming home soon!

My cousin Heidi has been gone for 1 year. She went off to Australia for teachers college. She is coming home on the 15th of December and I am so excited. It is crazy how fast this year has flown by. I havent been on any "crazy" adventures since she left so I am looking forward to it.

Well, my dear friend Steph has been gone for 1 week and she is coming home soon. She went to Edmonton to visit family and it has been very quiet over here. For all you out westeners, I hear you have lots of snow. Here in Ontario, I have been wearing a very thin sweater because it has been so warm. It is wonderful.

Halloween

Here are my nephew and nieces. You will probably see pictures of them quite often because I think they are the most adorable children. This is on Halloween when they all dressed up.
Isn't it crazy to think how children can change your lives so completely. I don't know what we used to talk about before these cute children were born. I have such an awesome relationship with each of them. They are always so excited to see you and it feels so good. I guess children can do that to you.

Attitude

Here is a quote I found and I really like it so I wanted to share it.

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company... a church ... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past ... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and that is our attitude ... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you ... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

Friendships

For the past couple of months, I have really been struggling with God's will in my life. How do you even know what that is? Do you just hear and feel what you want? Even if I felt a calling, would I do it if it didn't benefit me in the way I want it to? I really hope that I am not the only one who feels this way. These last couple of months, I have started to talk to old friends and I have been making some new friends. It has been pretty cool and encouraging. It is amazing how friendships work? I love the ones where you can just pick up where you left off. Those are the best ones. So, thank you to all my friends who have encouraged me, have been there for me, have frustrated me yet stuck it through and especially for those of you who have prayed for me.

Here is a picture of my nephew Josiah Thiessen. He is 4 years old and this is a picture of him in Junior Kindergarten!!

Here is a picture of my newest niece Bella Jehan. She is my sister Julie's first baby. Bella is so chubby and cute and she gets kissed ALL THE TIME!!

Since everyone else is doing this Blog thing, I thought I would give it a try. It has been fun reading up on old friends and seeing what they have been up to.
